En dit is de batik quilt, met originele Indonesische lapjes in combinatie met quilt batik lapjes.

And this is the result of the batik quilt, measures 2mtr square. My neighbor was very happy about the result, so I am happy too.

De quilt werd duidelijk op prijs gesteld en de buurvrouw was er blij mee, en dat was de bedoeling.

En dit is de achterkant geworden.


This is the back side, all original Indonesian batiks.


Gepatched en gequilt met de machine. Ben blij met het resultaat.


En bij deze wil ik iedereen fijne kerstdagen toewensen, en een goed en gezond 2018.
En bedanken voor alle leuke reacties en opmerkingen over mijn quilt avonturen.

Ze komen niet altijd af, maar ga ook volgend jaar weer een poging wagen.


En heb het gezellig met elkaar.

Het is gelukt, alle sashings zijn gemaakt,het heeft even geduurd maar alle vierkantjes zitten vast.

All the sashings of the first border are appliqued, alle the squares are sewed.

Prepared the corner stones with help of the perfect circles of Karen Buckley, and now have to stitch the circles.


De cirkels zijn allemaal geplakt en kunnen nu geappliceerd worden, 20 stuks in totaal, die als hoek stukjes gaan dienen.

En alle vogelblokken zijn op maat gesneden, dus binnenkort zit alles aanelkaar.


And all the birdblocks are cut into the right size, so going further with the blocks.

Next time will show the quilttop.

En ondertussen is de verrassingsquilt voor de buurvrouw ook gedubbeld, dus kan er gequilt gaan worden op de machine, perfect weer om dat nu te gaan doen.


And in the meantime sandwiched the surprise quilt, so ready to be quilted by machine.
